I had back surgery in 2001 and was pain free for one year after the surgery. I was in pain from 2002 until 2008, which is when I discovered Z-CoiL shoes. I was at a hospital when I saw a nurse with a pair of Z-CoiL shoes on, she told me she was on her feet up to 12 hours a day and no longer had back pain.
